Liat Mordechay from 24me will turn your smartphone into a personal assistant
While trying to cope with the crazy schedule of raising 3 young children while working and studying, Liat and her husband Gilad were looking for a way to make their life easier. The main problem, according to Liat, was to focus. Harnessing the smartphone to manage your time and to take simple actions requires juggling between various apps, one for a calendar, another for emails, a third for navigation and buying flowers or such will require additional applications.
This made Liat and Gilad come up with 24me – an application that helps you manage all your tasks, events and errands, and offers you quick ways to execute them on the fly. If you already use a calendar and you have an appointment scheduled in it, for an example, 24me will get the information about that appointment from your calendar, show you driving directions using your navigation application and will even display how does that location looks like in real life via Street View.
Liat says that she had the entrepreneurship bug in her since childhood, when she traded necklaces on local bazaars. Later on, Liat took part in the “Zell Entrepreneurship Program” at the Inter-Disciplinary Center Herzliya, and she highly recommends it for aspiring entrepreneurs.
